Walk In Through

I discovered this after researching a craft fair called 'Origin' which takes place at Somerset House in London. As a thumbnail image for an article on basket weaving, initially I perceived the above photo as a piece of photographic trickery which made me ponder the opportunities that can become available to you when you look at an object from another perspective. It turned out that this is actually an image of willow weaving on a massive scale by Lee Dalby. I love the visual complexity and warmth of the materials (which is aided by the lighting) and the enveloping feeling created by the structure in spite of the sparseness of materials encompassed in the structure.
